Valentines in my house is simply an excuse to pay a babysitter. . . & I’m here for that!
This year for Valentines Day I want to be the one to surprise my boo because he wears the crown for surprises. He is constantly doing the sweetest things to catch me off guard & he doesn’t need a holiday to make it happen. So this time I have been trying to be the Jack Pearson of the house & plan him a special day. I wanted to shift away from the typical dinner & a movie & just get some quality time in doing things we don’t ever do because well #kids. So I am waking Nathaniel up on a Saturday & making him get dressed. We will drop the kids off to a babysitter then have breakfast. After brunch we will go thrifting because we both love a good find. Next stop will be something he loves like the shooting range & then pick up the kids for dinner. We dont have a TV in our room so I am going to rent a movie on iTines, set up the laptop & some of his favorite snacks in bed, & just enjoy the rest of the night.
Sometime simplicity is superb. One of my favorite pieces of advice to give to newlyweds is. . .
Be homies till death do you part.
